Rubber shock-absorbing pads have the characteristics of high elasticity and high viscosity. The elasticity of rubber is caused by changes in its curled molecular structure. The interaction between rubber molecules will hinder the movement of the molecular chain, thus showing the characteristics of viscosity damping, so that stress and strain are often in an unbalanced state.

Rubber shock absorbing products mainly include rubber shock absorbing pads, rubber air springs, rubber fenders, sponge and cork rubber shock absorbing pads, elastic couplings and flexible pipes.

  For example:

1. Rubber shock-absorbing pad. Most of them are rubber and metal composite products, used for shock absorption and sound insulation of various machinery, instruments, axles and pipes.

2. Rubber air spring. It has better shock absorption and impact resistance than metal springs and is mainly used in vehicles. Its structure is somewhat similar to that of a tubeless tire. The curtain cloth layer is the pressure-resistant layer, there is an airtight rubber layer inside, and there is an oil-resistant and aging-resistant protective rubber layer outside.

3. Rubber bearings. It is made of rubber sheets bonded to rigid materials (steel plates, steel mesh, canvas). The latter can increase the compressive strength of the bearing but has little effect on the shear strength. Rubber bridge bearings can transfer bridge loads to bridge piers, adapt to bridge deformation, and reduce vibration. Rubber building bearings can reduce the impact of subway and surrounding vehicles as well as earthquakes on buildings.

4. Rubber anti-slip mat. It is made from latex collected from rubber trees and is a kind of polymer isoprene. It has good wear resistance, high elasticity, breaking strength and elongation. It ages easily in the air, becomes sticky when exposed to heat, and easily dissolves in mineral oil. Or it swells and dissolves in gasoline. It is resistant to alkali but not strong acid. Advantages: good elasticity, acid and alkali resistant.
